Then - One Word Prompt

Then - One Word Prompt

The word that you have to include in this prompt is "then"

THEN

Make the piece shorter than 1000 words.

Here are some suggestions for you to get going - (or that you can completely ignore)

1. Reminisce of back then.

2. Rhyme then with ten and den and other words.

3. "And then it happened"

What I would write with this prompt - (that would probably be wrong)

I'd come up with a story about a hen who knows about zen, and act like since those words rhyme with then, that the prompt's criteria is met. A hen who knows zen, I could even pretend like there is some deeper meaning to the whole thing.

Whichever you do, if you listen to the suggestions, ignore them, or create your own unique take on the prompt, enjoy writing the piece.

That is the key to these prompts.

THEN is your one word for today's prompt.

Good luck with your writing.
