Work - One Word Prompt
The word that you have to include in this prompt is "WORK"
Work, the one thing we all have to do but we all hate. Sure death and taxes are guaranteed in this life, but no one understands either of them. Where do I go when I die? When will it happen? What is the tax deadline again? How come I owe money this year? But work... You understand work. We all understand work. Doing something you don't like for money. None of us like it. None of us want it. But we all need it.
Rules - (if you want to call them that)
Make the piece shorter than 1000 words.
It could be fiction or non-fiction.
You have to somehow in your piece refer to the word given.
Here are some suggestions that you can to follow - (or that you can completely ignore)
Complain about working
Speak highly of working. (Although I don't know why you would do that)
Complain about working.
What I would write with this prompt - (that would probably be wrong)
I'd make up a story related to a job I had in the past. I probably would have the story not actually have anyone really work either. Just a bunch of people talking. Cause people working is not interesting to read.
WORK is your one word for today's prompt.
Whether you like work, hate work, or understand your taxes, try to enjoy writing this prompt. Of those things, writing may be the most enjoyable activity you can do.
Leave your piece in the comment section below, or submit it here
